Easing to export images in Inkscape

Hi all,

since Thorsten once spend such a long time to export all the images in
the SVG file, I tried to find an extension to ease this a bit.
Unfortunately, I did not find "the perfect" solution - it is not even
working (for me). But if you want to play with it, here is the link:

Installing extensions should work like that:
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/ScriptingHOWTO#Installing

Cheers,
Christoph

Doesn't sound like that would have much to offer over just using target
rectangles in a separate layer as described at
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/File-Export.html
(see "Slicing a Drawing").

Re: Easing to export images in Inkscape

Hi Thorsten,

hey, thanks for the link! And yes, that's what I have been searching
for ...

The funny thing is, that I already used such background objects to
define the size. Just the names haven't been set ... easy to fix, isn't
it?

And, Thorsten (B.) also pointed me towards something Jakub did two years
ago ... have a look at the video, also the new one at the bottom of the
page (link):

Thanks for the hint!

Cheers,
Christoph
