RE: the note (found on the "Release Notes" page)[1] about MSO 2010 not
recognizing LibreOffice 3.5.x saved format in ODF 1.2 Should this be added to the website "Features"[2] page? It's listed on wiki "Release Notes" page[3] but I don't think that users visit the wiki page too often. Plus, that particular section has the fix for that section, which, may be important for users to read. If I don't hear a case for not having it on the website Features page, then I will go ahead and add it (or someone else could go ahead and add it also). +1 sounds worth having it on the website. To the best of my knowledge MS
hinted they would/might support ODF 1.2 only if approved as a standard by ISO. Best, Charles. Hi Charles,

BTW ... if I read various threads on this, MSO cannot import ODF1.2 properly even with the "Repair" option. Should we not be suggesting to users wishing to work with documents on both LibreOffice and MSO that they save their documents in .doc format? Of course, users who are not using MSO would not have to bother and let LibreOffice in ODF 1.2 file format?
