More units of measurement

E.g. in the paragraph-settings when you want to change the distance
above/under a paragraph etc. is in cm. Because you choose the
font-size im points, it would be better to have this also in points,
so that it is easier to know what distance to choose. And the best
thing would be, if you could change the unit of measurement, some
prefer points, some cm, some ...

Okay, fwiw, you _can_ change that. All you need to do is enter your
measurement unit too, for instance "0.05pt" (or "%," "in, "em,"
whatever).
As with many LibreOffice features, this is sadly not all very visible
and of course there's no way to tell which measurement units are
allowed.
It's probably best, if you collect a list of all places that need to be
changed, make a mockup of what you have in mind (for at least one
dialog, but more is always better) and and then put that, with a
description in a whiteboard. See:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Whiteboards for a look at our
current whiteboards.
