Hi :)
This sounds weird. Have you tried renaming your user-profile? Which OS are you using? Win Xp? Does the same thing happen with other programs or just Calc? I guess it happens with Writer etc too but i meant can you check a couple of other programs, maybe Firefox or IE? Tom,
Thanks for the response. I'm running Fedora 16 x86_64 on a Dell M4400 with all the latest and greatest. No, the funky behavior does not happen with Writer or FireFox (however, I run Chrome normally). And no, not with other apps - I frequently have multiple instances of gedit and they play nice. If we had a tabbed display, the problem wouldn't be a problem. Hi :)
Lol, yes tabs would be fantastic. Especially if we could rip them off and drop the tab to form it's own window/console or add the tab into another instance of LO. It works with web-browsers. Gedit and file-browsers don't quite do all that but at least they do have tabs! Here is a link about testing the user profile idea https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile Regards from Tom :) --- On Fri, 22/6/12, lesatglsi <[hidden email]> wrote: From: lesatglsi <[hidden email]> Subject: [libreoffice-users] Re: New calc window un-minimized existing calc window To: [hidden email] Date: Friday, 22 June, 2012, 17:42 Tom, Thanks for the response. You might want to close LO, rename your user folder, and start LO again. This writes a new user folder. If there is an error in that folder causing your problem, this would solve that problem. Before anyone can say how to do this specifically, we need to know what your operating system is. If it is windows, please be specific as to which version. If OS X, please be specific also. --Dan -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [hidden email] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted |
