Re: Representation in Peru (south america)

TDF is a charitable foundation, and is represented by LibreOffice
community members. Although there isn't any LibreOffice community member
from Peru actively involved in marketing activities, I am sure there is
a community among free open source software advocates.

There is a user mailing list in Spanish, and a Telegram group in Spanish
where you can find LibreOffice community members in Peru.

Donations to TDF are unrelated to the software, as the open source
license allows to use LibreOffice in any environment for free, starting
from large organizations such as governments down to single individuals.

Certification is a completely different topic. You cannot get any kind
of LibreOffice related certification if you are not actively involved in
migration or training activities, as certification recognizes individual
experience in the field.

I have added to my answer Daniel Rodriguez from Argentina, and Olivier
Hallot / Gustavo Pacheco from Brasil. They are all fluent in Spanish and
know Latin America far better than me (I am based in Europe).

I am sure they will help you with plenty of information about the
Spanish speaking LibreOffice community.

Best regards, Italo

Hi

There's a LibreOffice group getting form in Peru which made a recent event
in Cusco.
The only mail address I have is from Rigoberto Condori, [hidden email]

The telegram group mentioned by Italo is @libreoffice_es, I suggest to join
there.
