Restoring List of 'Recent Documents'

It appears that each time I upgrade LO some features/fuctions are reset to
different defaults and I do not find how to restore them by browsing through
Tools->Options.

This time, after upgrading to LO-3.5.0, I no longer have recently opened
documents displayed on File->Recently opened. I looked through the options
and did not see what needs to be selected/deselected to re-enable this
feature.

A pointer to the fix is appreciated.

Rich

Hi Rich

There is currently an open issue for that as a bug, the fix will be in
this next point release 3.5.1 I believe.

drew,

So, job security for developers, eh? :-) Break something so there's
something to fix.

   Thanks for the insight.

Re: Restoring List of 'Recent Documents' [RESOLVED]

Hi :)
Lol, almost none of the devs get paid.  Most of those that are probably have to manage people rather than code.  So, it's a PITA for them as it only stops them from working on the more fun stuff like long-runing issues or awesome new features and generally being like a rockstar.

That sort of thing would only be useful for proprietary systems and even then it's unlikely the same dev would be assigned to fix it.  It would be someone new that had no experience with that bit of code while the person breaking it would have been given something new to break.

Ooops, was that a bit cynical?  I'm outside the industry so i am only guessing.
Regards from
Tom :)

Hi :)
A lot of people are regretting not having tried the beta-releases early on to get some of these problems out of the way for the final release.  Now quite a few people that wanted the shiny new toys are being forced to go back to the more stable releases they were on before.  Quick everyone!  Pounce on the next beta so we can all play! Tom,

I know this well since I've used only F/OSS since 1997 and have
participated in the development of several applications.
