Hi :)
In the first picture you have "Navigation" on View - Toolbars - Navigation but it looks like a fresh new document so the forward and back arrows are "greyed out" because there isn't anything to go forwards or backwards to. I'm not sure what is going on in the 2nd picture. It looks like you have Gnome with panels/taskbars at the top and bottom and both have a windows-list. You can right-click on one of them and choose "Remove from panel" Regards from Tom :) |

The first image shows the navigation toolbar was activated from the view menu, I thought it was by default on as a toolbar with or without text.
Both images are running under WINDOWS XP; the second image shows a pop-up menu where the character type can be selected only from letter "A" to the "I" the rest of the character fonts are not displayed, I mean from the letter "J" to the "W", so they are missing in that list. Regards. R.S. |

Hi :)
1st image: I am not sure if the navigation thing is on by default but it can be switched off fairly easily. I tend to have most toolbars and such-like off. 2nd image: At the bottom of the list is a little triangle which you can click on and then start scrolling the mouse wheel to get down the list faster. There are just too many fonts to display them all at the same time in a list like that. I guess you are more used to working on much larger monitors and at higher resolutions. Hopefully that should sort out the problems? Regards from Tom :) --- On Mon, 16/4/12, rossca1 <[hidden email]> wrote: From: rossca1 <[hidden email]> Subject: [libreoffice-users] Re: What's going on? Hi :)
It doesn't look as though a huge amount of memory is being used. There is not a lot open, according to the taskbar. You could try increasing memory reserved for LO by Tools - Options - Memory However i doubt that is the issue. It's worth a try i guess because it's easy to ramp it up a bit. By the way which version of java is LO using? Also could you try renaming your user profile to see if that magically fixes it? http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile Regards from Tom :) --- On Mon, 16/4/12, R.S. <[hidden email]> wrote: The little arrow at the end of the character list is grey and the pop up menu stops working when it reaches the letter ( I ), may be for the huge memory usage to show the rest or maybe for a bug in the source code.
